Why Nanuq Labs

A Considered Approach to AI Adoption

We don't sell software subscriptions or push particular platforms. Our work is focused entirely on helping your organization make decisions that are right for your people and your goals.

Vendor-Neutral Guidance

We are not tied to any AI platform or software provider. Our recommendations are based solely on what makes sense for your organization.

People-Centered Process

Every engagement starts with understanding your team — their comfort levels, daily workflows, and what will actually make their work better.

Privacy-Aware by Default

All recommendations account for Canadian data privacy requirements, including PIPEDA and provincial legislation, as part of our standard process.

Measurable Outcomes

We set clear performance benchmarks before deployment and evaluate results against them — so you know what changed and why.

No Technical Background Required

Our training programs are designed for finance, operations, HR, and customer service teams — not engineers. We meet participants where they are.

Right-Sized for Your Organization

Built for teams of 20 to 500. No enterprise complexity, no one-size-fits-all packages — just work that fits your scale.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of organizations do you typically work with? +
We primarily work with Canadian organizations in the 20 to 500 employee range across sectors including finance, professional services, healthcare administration, operations, and education. Our services are designed for teams that are thoughtfully exploring AI — not organizations already deep in technical development.
Do our staff need any technical knowledge to participate in the workshops? +
No. The Employee AI Fluency Workshop Series is specifically designed for non-technical staff. Sessions begin from foundational concepts and build practical skills using tools relevant to everyday tasks in finance, HR, operations, and customer service. Participants don't need any prior experience with AI or software development.
How long does the AI Readiness Assessment typically take? +
The assessment runs over three weeks. This includes an initial data infrastructure review, digital literacy evaluation across departments, stakeholder interviews with team leads, and the preparation of a detailed report outlining a phased adoption roadmap specific to your organization.
Are you affiliated with any specific AI software vendors? +
No. Nanuq Labs is entirely vendor-neutral. We don't resell software or earn commissions from platform providers. Our guidance is based on what genuinely fits your organization's needs, budget, and technical capacity — which is what allows us to give objective advice.
What happens after the 12-week implementation engagement ends? +
The Custom AI Integration Strategy engagement includes 30 days of post-deployment support at no additional cost. During this period, we're available to help address questions, troubleshoot issues, and support your team as they settle into the new workflows. Extended support can be arranged separately if needed.
How do you handle privacy and data during engagements? +
Privacy is addressed as a core consideration in all our work, not as an afterthought. We align with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation throughout every engagement, and all recommendations we make take Canadian data protection requirements into account. We do not access or retain your organization's data beyond what's required to complete the engagement.
